With all the remembering being done about September 11, 2001, I can’t help but think about our first auction. I had come to you with my first Trustee auction, a metal fabricator in South Jersey. After having close to a twenty year small business partnership, my business associate and myself decided to liquidate the assets of our company and go in a new direction. After speaking with multiple dealers and auctioneers over the phone, only Eric Merback, the President and Owner of Quaker City Auctioneers, was willing to come to our facility and inspect all our assets before offering a proposal of any kind.
